Lecture Series
The Highland Art Gallery's "Lecture Series" highlights classical, contemporary and current artistic movements , as well as, new research by the Gallery's special guests. Lectures in depth with unique talks presented by artists, scholars, curators, and cultural figures devoted to expanding experience and broadening artistic perspectives. All programs take place in the East Auditorium. Lectures are free and open to the public.
Purposes
The New England Institute of Education provides a response to art education and professional needs, so as to our art educational interests to the arts community. Our fine arts programs have been aiming to strengthen communications between the local, the nation and the international exchange as part of our art education. Through artistic, intellectual and cultural interactive activities enable us to communicate the breadth of intellectual and creative endeavor that characterizes our artistic and regional community from the arts and humanities to fine arts and the professions.
Our public events and lecture series educate and improve the quality of NEIE programs, as well as, our students's learning experience. Professional activities are not only advance our professional arts education, vision, research, connection, and creative practice but also invite our students have the opportunity to be educated through cultural impact and the professional exchanged learning progress. This special event program provides valuable resources, as well as, beneficial and rewarding for students and local professionals with passion in the arts and continuing of learning.

Giotto Giotto di Bondone (1266 -1337), started the Renaissance. It’s the first time an artist had developed an individual spirit,
Raphael Raffaello Santi’s (1483 – 15200), unique talent earned him a level of admiration equal to that of his older contemporaries.

Piero Della Francesca Francesca (1413-1492) The mystery men of western art, he paved the way for likes of Leonardo and Michelangelo.
