Welcome to the Department of Music at New England Institute of Education , a department is a vibrant hub of artistic and educational activity, a department with a long-standing promising and teaching excellence in the training of musicians for a variety of professional pursuits, including piano, violin, voice and choir.  The music faculty, a community of scholars, performers and teachers, share an uncommonly strong commitment to their students in the department.  

The Department of Music encourages other art area educators to consider class trips to experience our faculty or student recitals, which are generally free and open to the public. In addition, our faculty members are willing to do workshops or masterclasses and ensemble frequently do outreach with other schools.
